D Magazine is a highly coveted monthly magazine covering the Dallas Fort Worth area. With a readership over 500,000 and a social following of 173k, D covers a wide variety of local topics including real estate on all platforms.
As a Research Editorial Intern, one of my main duties was collaborating with 5 of my fellow D Magazine interns across various departments to create an advertising plan for Compass Real Estate's branch in Dallas. Compass, a national real estate company with an existing reputation across the US, had recently opened a branch in Dallas and were looking to gain exposure. With a $100,000 budget, we were tasked with utilizing resources within the magazine's sales department to include print + digital advertising as well as an event to get the word out.
