In my role at Life in Jeneral, I have proven to be an efficient, detail-oriented, and determined asset to the team. In February 2020, I was hired as a part-time Marketing Strategist and part-time Professional Organizer, but when the pandemic hit in March, in-home organizing services were no longer an option. As such, I understood that flexibility and adaptability were key to ensuring the continued success of a small business with a large online presence. My value quickly became recognized as I maneuvered the company’s marketing strategy and pivoted points of revenue from in-person home organizing to online & virtual guidance.
My day to day responsibilities as Brand Manager & Copywriter include:
+ Overseeing design assets for all platforms, communicating cross-functionally to ensure all assets are on-brand and drive profitable growth
+ Contributing copy on all platforms, maintaining a consistent brand tone throughout and working to persuade, empower, inspire, and teach our audience
+ Working collaboratively to develop brand marketing strategies for various entities within the Life in Jeneral brand family
In this role, I have remained agile and determined to create the best possible marketing strategy & social media content—with a keen eye for the little details that make all the difference—to ensure a solid position for growth within the professional organizing industry for Life in Jeneral.
Most notably, I helped open a new line of business for Life in Jeneral, spearheading the creation of LIJ Academy, a community for aspiring professional organizers. I have largely contributed to the creation of its premiere business course and subsequent offerings, writing and designing 175+ page workbook, executing creative direction for video modules & photoshoots, and developing a marketing strategy to promote products and grow the community.
